Death leaves a heartache no one can heal
Love leaves a memory no one can steal...
On July 11, 2012, in the presence of his girls Glanna and Skjalla, Grimur died calmy and confidently in my arms. The battle had been fought, the work had been done and it was time to let him go. The void he leaves behind is enormous. The hole in my heart even bigger.
Dear Grímur, for everything you taught me and have given me unconditionally, I am forever grateful! I miss you!

Love leaves a memory no one can steal...
Gudrun died at the age of 14,5 years old at home at her favorite spot in the garden and in my arms, after a tough fight she couldn't win. She leaves a big hole in my heart and is dearly missed. Not only by me, Skjalla also has a hard time coping with the loss of Gúdrun. We miss her every day! Dear Gúdrun, thank you for all you meant to us and still do!
